Aaron Sciandra is a skilled artisan who can bring your ideas to life, or can develop a project from concept to installation. He has a BFA in sculpture from Pratt Institute and excels at creative problem-solving. His specialties include custom visuals, retail displays, home & event décor, prototypes, and textile goods. In addition to his work in visuals, Aaron offers custom-made quilts and a line of made-to-order jewelry called ‘Rose Black.’ In 2020 he was nominated for a James Beard Foundation award for his design work on the TWA Hotel’s Connie Bar. Clients include Barneys NY, Joan Rivers, MAC Cosmetics, Simon Doonan, Jonathan Adler, and IKEA. Aaron works and lives in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn with his husband Garry and their wire-haired rescue-mutt named Sissy.
